Creative Soul: Café

In May this year we will launch Creative Soul: Café – a series of pop-up events at different venues in Nine Elms

Over coffee, in a relaxed and chilled environment, professional creatives will lead sessions designed to stimulate a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Each one focuses on a different creative activity – visual art, poetry, crafts – that everyone can do, whether they consider themselves ‘artistic’ or not.

Our next session is on 29th October at The Alchemist, the popular cocktail bar and restaurant in Embassy Gardens, will be led by artist Anna Cowie, who has worked with us on many projects. The theme will be ‘Express yourself Gallery Wall’ Anna says:

“I look forward to guiding you through creating a Gallery Wall to express your personality. - how to find your inspiration and a practical hands-on approach to creating three pieces of art yourself, to begin your collection.”

We hope that Creative Soul will help Nine Elms become a beacon for the use of arts and creativity for wellbeing and will enable residents, across this wonderfully diverse and ever-changing area, come together as the heart and soul of Nine Elms.
