Discover a magical immersive light experience which takes you to the heart of the festive season

The experience begins as you enter the art’beat studio inside art’otel London Battersea, where the space will be transformed by artist Alexa Muen, with a multi-sensory art installation featuring lights, mirrors, sounds, and even fragrance. 

Art Installation & Exhibition

Artist Alexa Muen, known for her ground-breaking work in light-based multimedia art, has crafted interconnected artworks: Rejoice - Reflect - Renewal - Reborn - Release, to create a magical immersive journey.

This multi-sensory art installation celebrates hope and togetherness and offers a place to escape the rush of the festive season, giving visitors a chance to pause and engage with art and community as they journey into the heart of Christmas.

Community Art Exhibition
Visit our HeART of Christmas inspired Community Art Exhibition at Two Little Giraffes Cafe and Gelataria, Thessaly Rd, SW8 4ED - where local residents working with artist Sol Golden Sato have created beautiful paintings expressing what Christmas means to them - till 4 Jan in Cafe hours. 


Nine Elms Arts Ministry

Nine Elms Arts Ministry is a small charity with a big heart! We have been bringing people together in Nine Elms, Battersea around creativity, wellbeing, and spirituality since 2018 and became a registered charity in 2023. Creative Soul, our creative wellbeing programme, offers free dance, art and craft sessions in venues across the area throughout the year and a programme of workplace wellbeing. Seasonal and special projects have included: The Nine Elms Advent Calendar art trail; Porsche Now - a community art collaboration with luxury car brand Porsche in Battersea Power Station; and Create & Learn Play Kits - an award-winning collaborative project distributive 10,000 creative packs to families during the pandemic.

This is the second year that art’otel London Battersea has partnered with Nine Elms Arts Ministry, bringing art to life in unique and inclusive ways.

With a shared goal of creating accessible creative spaces, art’otel has become a welcoming hub for artistic exploration.

This partnership extends from Christmas residencies like HeART of Christmas to various workshops and events designed to foster community in Nine Elms and Battersea year-round.
